Twilight Saga: Eclipse Movie Review

The third Twilight film, Eclipse, features a hit-or-miss soundtrack full of prominent indie artists performing new material that is solid but rarely earth-shattering. Consequently, the album feels like a collection of B-sides from some prominent artists who cater to the vampire franchise’s moody, romantic vibe.

Starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Billy Burke, Ashley Greene, Jackson Rathbone, Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz, Elizabeth Reaser, Peter Facinelli, Gil Birmingham, Dakota Fanning, Kirsten Prout, Anna Kendrick, Bryce Dallas Howard, Cameron Bright, and directed by David Slade.

Plot Summary: In “Eclipse,” Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf.

The red carpet premiere of Eclipse takes place June 24, as part of the Los Angeles Film Festival with stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner. The film also features Dakota Fanning and Oscar nominee Anna Kendrick, and opens in US cinemas and IMAX theaters on 8th July
